Effective January 1, 2024, Madelon Knop has been appointed the new program manager for the Green Heart Works Platform, the regional platform for circular initiatives in the Green Heart.
In recent years Madelon was program manager connection education-labor market Economic Establishment Climate at the Metropoolregio Rotterdam Den Haag and was engaged in campus development at MBO and HBO level for the sectors agrifood, biotech and fresh logistics, energy and digitalization. Before that, she built a lot of experience in innovation policy in the (greenhouse) horticulture sector and internationalization. In the coming months she will get to know various parties and projects in the Green Heart. She will focus on formulating a strategic and implementation agenda in the field of circular economy in our region. The core values of the platform Connecting, Inspiring and Facilitating remain of great value here.
