The project “H₂Education & Demonstration Bus” aims to develop a sustainable bus that offers various opportunities in the fields of education, technology and innovation.
Electric and hydrogen powered
The bus will not run on fossil fuels, but on electricity. The ultimate goal is to use hydrogen as a fuel. Innovation and sustainability are combined.
Education Project
That this requires advanced automotive technology is obvious. In cooperation with MBO Rijnland, among others, the bus will be used to transport students of the CIV Smart Technology course to the companies where they take their technical practical lessons. The equipment ín the bus facilitates the teachers to start teaching during the ride. The driving classroom is born.
Employability
But not only teaching ín the bus is an educational goal. The maintenance of the bus also offers plenty of opportunities for technical education. In addition, the bus is a mobile showcase that can be used for various events in the field of technology or sustainability.
