Handbook Biobased Preserving the Existing Building

In early June, the Handbook Biobased Making Existing Buildings Sustainable was presented. More and more clients are asking for biobased building and renovation materials. The government also stimulates building and renovating with natural materials. It is therefore obvious that, just as for new buildings, there will also be environmental performance requirements for renovations. Knowledge about promising bio-based product applications prepares us for this. We also want to know what might stand in the way of the application of bio-based materials in renovation. Then we can share this with interested parties, such as clients or the government, and work together on solutions.

Research has been done and mapped out how biobased materials perform and what it means for occupants. In the manual you can read the result of this research.
