In the Week of Circular Economy from March 11 to 16, 2024, we draw attention to circular craft centers in the Green Heart. Each day we highlight one of the building blocks of such a circular craft center. Reusing, repairing or giving a second life to various materials is the focus. All with the goal of achieving a circular economy by 2050.
Day 1: Today, Jacques Rozendaal, alderman in the municipality of Woerden and chairman of our platform talks about what “driving transitions” means.
Day 2: At Stichting Het BehouT in Alphen aan den Rijn, wood gets a second life. André Troost enthusiastically tells his story.
Day 3: Everything under one roof at Kringloop Gouda –> repair, refurbish and reuse!
Day 4: Today the main focus is social value. The Recovery Foundation makes it possible.
Day 5: Education is an important factor when it comes to the future of the circular economy. At Waardlanden in Groot-Ammers, all parts of the ce come together.
